9.1 Edward Tucker

Ed TuckerEd is an innovative and highly developed security professional; fully versed in multiple disciplines across the Information Assurance arena, with extensive experience across both public and private sector organisations. Ed is widely recognised as a cyber-security expert and thought leader in his field.

Ed is both a CESG Certified Security and Information Risk Advisor (Lead Practitioner) and CESG Certified IT Security Officer (Lead Practitioner) as well as holding a number of other qualifications including CISSP, C-EH, CHFI and ISO27001 Lead Auditor. He is currently the Head of Cyber Security for HM Revenue & Customs.

9.2 Iain Hunneybell

Iain HunneybellIain is an Infrastructure & Security Architect consultant and has been associated with Internet technologies and the web since the mid-1990s. His journey has taken him through the early days of companies first presenting their product and services on the web, through the launch of major online financial and Government web services, to countering the growing threat from cybercrime.

Particular areas of experience include HTTP and web security, identity management, counter fraudulent Email (spam) controls and business technical consulting, jointly developing practical solutions with business requirement owners.

9.3 About the content of this White Paper

The approach to combatting fraudulent Email via the blended set of measures described in this White Paper was presented at the GovSec, Government IT Security & Risk Management 2014 conference in London by Ed on 24 September, 2014. The approach gained considerable interest being reported widely across the computer and security press.
